Routebook by Kington started from a simple realisation: the best trips are rarely built around one place. They happen when you connect places together — the coastal towns, mountain roads, hidden beaches, viewpoints, hikes, food stops and small detours that turn a holiday into a proper journey.

We love multi-stop travel because it helps you see more, experience more, and get more out of each destination. But planning those trips can be frustrating. The best routes are often hidden in old forum threads, scattered blog posts, social media captions, group chats, or someone's half-remembered itinerary. You can spend days researching where to go, what to do, which roads are worth taking and which stops are worth your time — and still come home realising you missed some of the best places.

Routebook by Kington was built to solve that.

We're creating a free, community-led platform where travellers can discover, save and share multi-stop routes in one place. Routes are mapped clearly, organised by stops, and built to help people plan better adventures without starting from a blank page every time.

What we're building

Routebook is a growing collection of curated road trips, route guides and multi-stop travel ideas. Some routes are built from first-hand experience, others are researched, reviewed and improved so they become genuinely useful for travellers planning a similar journey.

Instead of digging through dozens of tabs, you can browse a route, see the key stops, understand the travel style, save it for later, or use it as inspiration to build your own.

Over time, Routebook will become a place where travellers can not only discover great routes, but adapt them around their own dates, pace, budget and travel style.

Our principles

• Routes over random lists. A good trip is more than a list of places. We focus on how destinations connect, how the journey flows, and what makes each stop worth including.
• Useful before anything else. Every route should help someone make a better travel decision — where to stop, how long to spend, what to prioritise, and what kind of traveller the route suits.
• Community-led, carefully reviewed. Routebook is built around shared travel knowledge. Community routes are reviewed before they go live so the platform stays useful, practical and trustworthy.
• Free to explore. Route discovery should be easy to access. Routebook is free to browse, save and share, with more planning tools coming later.
• Built for real-world travel. We're not here to make every trip look perfect. We care about practical routes, realistic pacing, memorable stops and adventures people can actually take.
