Check posted geyser prediction times and plan boardwalk loops around them. Arrive early at Grand Prismatic, the small car park fills fast. Drive Lamar Valley at first light or dusk for wildlife. Carry binoculars and never approach bison, stay at least 25 yards away. Artist Point is busiest mid-morning. Go early or late for softer light on the falls and easier parking at the canyon rim. The Cody Nite Rodeo runs nightly from June to August. Buy tickets at the gate and arrive about 30 minutes early for a good seat. The Togwotee Pass drive from Dubois takes about 90 minutes. Fuel up in Dubois, then enjoy the Teton reveal as you descend.
